Play-Based Kindergarten in Kilsyth
Little Lane Kilsyth offers both 3 year old and 4 year old kindergarten programs.
Our kindergarten programs are play-based and provide a wide range of learning experiences that reflect the interests of the children, while also helping them develop the skills they need to reach their individual learning goals.
Social development and community are at the heart of our kindergarten program. Children are supported to build friendships, work collaboratively, communicate their ideas, develop independence and become confident members of a learning community.
Our 4 year old kindergarten children also attend bush kinder on a regular basis, giving them the opportunity to connect with nature, extend their learning outdoors and support their overall wellbeing.

A word from the Centre Manager
My name is Carina Clement. I have been working in Early Childhood Education for the past 26 years. During this time, I have completed my Certificate III and Diploma, and I am currently undertaking a dual Bachelor degree in Teaching (Early Childhood and Primary). I am also a solo mum by choice to my beautiful 14-year-old daughter.
Throughout my career, I have worked with children from birth to school age across a range of roles, including assistant educator, room leader, educational leader, assistant manager, and now Centre Manager. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to providing high-quality education and care for all children within our service.
I am passionate about building and maintaining meaningful, respectful relationships with children, families, and educators. I value open and honest communication and believe that families are a child’s first and most important teachers. I am dedicated to fostering a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment that supports this partnership and creates a true sense of belonging.
I strongly believe in working collaboratively with families, educators, and the leadership team, guided by ongoing reflection, communication. This approach allows us to create engaging learning experiences that respond to each child’s individual interests, strengths, and needs.
Outside of the centre, you will often find me supporting my daughter at her sporting events – Netball and Football, spending time with our family and friends, or baking and decorating cakes.
I am truly looking forward to continuing to build a warm, supportive “home away from home” with Little Lane Early Learning here in Kilsyth.
Carina
