programs
Learning programs at St Kilda
At St Kilda, play-based learning inspired by Reggio Emilia gives children opportunities to explore, create and learn together. Little Lane’s approach develops with each stage of childhood, building on children’s interests and relationships.
Nursery
Warm relationships with educators help babies build trust and a sense of belonging. Individual daily routines and opportunities to explore support early communication, movement and social development.
Toddler learning
Educators follow children’s interests through play, supporting language, movement and social skills. Trusted relationships and familiar routines help toddlers feel secure as they explore and become more independent.
Kindergarten
Open-ended play supports children’s communication, friendships and problem-solving. Little Lane’s kindergarten approach brings together creativity, early literacy and numeracy, and emotional wellbeing to support the transition to school.
Visit St Kilda to see the learning spaces and talk with our educators about your child’s stage. Our team can explain current kindergarten sessions and how they fit with your family’s care needs.

Food & Menu
Hello and welcome to Little Lane Early Learning Centre St Kilda.
My name is Noemi and I am proud to be the Centre Chef at Little Lane St Kilda.
I believe that mealtimes are an important part of every child’s day. They are not only about providing healthy, nutritious food, but also about creating positive experiences where children can enjoy trying new flavours, build healthy eating habits and share meals together in a warm and welcoming environment.
I enjoy preparing fresh balanced meals that support children’s growth and development while catering to their individual dietary and cultural needs. Every meal is planned with care, using quality ingredients and following the highest standards of food safety and nutrition.
Seeing children enjoy their meals and become more confident in exploring different foods is one of the most rewarding parts of my role. I love knowing that I can play a part in helping children develop a positive relationship with food from an early age.
I also value the partnerships we have with families. Whether it is supporting dietary requirements, allergies or simply learning about a child’s favourite foods, I believe that working together helps us provide the best possible care for every child.
I look forward to nourishing your children each day and being part of their learning and growing journey at Little Lane St Kilda.
Warm regards,
Noemi

A word from the Centre Manager
Welcome to Little Lane Early Learning Centre St Kilda.
My name is Snehal Jadhav and it is a privilege to be part of this wonderful community as Centre Manager.
I believe that every child deserves to feel safe, respected and genuinely excited to come to their early learning environment each day. My goal is to create a place where children feel at home are encouraged to be themselves and are supported to grow with confidence, curiosity and kindness.
To me early learning is about much more than preparing children for school. It is about building strong relationships, creating meaningful experiences and helping every child develop a sense of belonging. I believe children learn best when they are given opportunities to explore, make choices, ask questions and discover the world around them in their own way.
I also believe that families are at the heart of a child’s learning journey. Building strong, trusting relationships with our families is incredibly important to me and I value open communication and working together to support every child’s growth and wellbeing.
Our team is passionate about creating a warm welcoming environment where children are known, celebrated and encouraged to reach their potential. Every day we strive to provide experiences that inspire learning, nurture confidence and create happy childhood memories.
Thank you for considering Little Lane St Kilda for your family’s early learning journey. I look forward to welcoming you to our centre, getting to know your family and sharing in this special stage of your child’s life.
Warm regards,
Snehal Jadhav
