Play-Based Kindergarten and School Readiness in Diamond Creek
Little Lane Diamond Creek offers kindergarten and preschool programs designed to support children as they prepare for school.
Our kindergarten program focuses on the whole child. Children are supported to build early academic foundations through language, literacy, numeracy, creativity, problem solving and play-based learning, while also developing the social, emotional and practical skills they need for a confident transition to primary school.
School readiness is a key focus at Little Lane Diamond Creek. Educators help children build independence, resilience, communication skills, emotional confidence and positive learning habits through meaningful daily experiences.
Children are encouraged to explore art, music, movement, nature play, social connection, early STEM learning, community experiences and guided play in a supportive environment that values each child’s individual strengths.
Nursery, Toddler and Early Learning Programs
At Little Lane Diamond Creek, our programs support children at every stage of their early learning journey.
Nursery / Infant Program
Our nursery program provides calm, responsive long day care from 6 weeks of age.
Educators create a nurturing and home-like environment where babies are supported through gentle routines, warm relationships and individual care. Each child’s sleep, feeding, comfort and development needs are considered carefully, with routines built around the child wherever possible.
The nursery program supports early communication, movement, sensory development, emotional security and connection.
Toddler Program
Our toddler program encourages exploration, experimentation and independence through guided play.
Toddlers are supported to build confidence, social skills, communication, coordination and curiosity as they begin to engage more actively with the world around them. Educators provide hands-on experiences, nature play, sensory learning, group activities and calm routines that help children feel secure while developing independence.
Kindergarten / Preschool Program
Our kindergarten and preschool program supports children as they prepare for school academically, socially and emotionally.
Following the Early Years Learning Framework, children take part in play-based learning experiences that support language, literacy, numeracy, creativity, social connection, problem solving and independence.
